The new Teaching Music website launches tomorrow, a free social networking and resource-sharing platform for anyone involved in music education.

The idea is to help teachers share knowledge and ideas and to strengthen the links between the formal and informal sectors. There will be a 'marketplace' of resources and case studies for all members to share and contribute to.

It's free to join and members can create their own personal profile page with personalised library and news feed, write blogs and connect with others in the field.

Over 700 people have signed up so far and you can join them at www.teachingmusic.org.uk
