You could get yourself and your school into the record books by taking part in the Big Sing 2008.

Children across the country are being invited to take part in a simultaneous singalong, performing the Des'ree hit You Gotta Be at precisely 2.45pm on 27 November 2008. Des'ree herself will be at the O2 Arena in London, leading the singalong in a live radio and online link-up.

The aim is to spectacularly break the current Guinness World Record of 293, 978 children all singing simultaneously, by gathering one million children to sing in unison.

There are 2335 schools registered so far, with an estimate of 385,085 children, so that record looks like it's in the bag, but they'll need a lot more singers to make it up to the million mark.

For more info and to sign up your school, go to the Big Sing website.
